About Oesa Labs
Oesa Labs is an independent software studio in the Canadian Rockies. Its projects begin with real operational problems and are developed with an emphasis on reliability, clarity, privacy, and long-term usefulness.
The portfolio has a consistent shape: tools you run on your own hardware, with changes that can be previewed and reversed, data that stays yours, and documentation that says what is unfinished as plainly as what works. One project, a mountain weather service, runs live in production; the rest are in active development at various stages, described honestly on their own pages.
What we are, and what we are not
Oesa Labs is small and independent, with no investors and no growth targets. When these pages say we, that is the studio's editorial voice, not an imagined team. There are no offices, departments, or customer logos to show you, and none will be invented. What there is: working software, maintained because it is used.
The name
The studio takes its name from Lake Oesa, a small alpine lake in the Canadian Rockies. Short to say, easy to remember, and tied to the place where the work happens.
